Inspirational Design : Tallman Hotel

I've always been inspired by design-focused individuals and businesses using eco-friendly materials and practices. We, at Bae, have a similar principle in mind.

I recently stumbled upon a great hotel, an oasis of higher-end design, in the midst of Clearlake, north of Napa Valley. I was eating lunch with a good friend and decided to take a peek and see the rest of the property. I was pleasantly surprised for such a remote "destination". I came to find out they completely renovated this property that had been vacant nearly 40 years.

These images don't do it justice, but I wanted to share the treasure I've found in an ever-growing tourist destination. (You should see the press on this hotel!)

You may have noticed that bae-home.com is looking a little different lately. We decided to do a little autumn cleaning and give our site a freshening-up.In 2005, Matt Bissinger and David Caler teamed up to create Bae. Both are San Francisco natives who bring their love for functional art to the store, along with a basic belief that the things in your home should not only be beautiful but should also be well made and usable. The store captures and distills an eclectic blend of modern living with an old world charm.
